Lick #1
Built around the root position triad, Lick #1 is one of the most versatile and widely used licks in the styles of Boogie Woogie, Blues, Jazz, Rock, R&B and Country music.
The "false fingering" technique of using the same finger to slide two notes may seem strange, especially if you have a classical training background, but the efficiency and speed it will afford later on will be well worth the effort put forth in learning it.
